I work hard each and every day. I work hard, get there early, stay late, for no extra pay. And at the end of the week I still got no money saved. I remember my daddy's stories about them union days. Yes I remember my dad's stories about them old union days. Since them days disappeared I wonder how we let a few rich folk put us all to shame. There aint nothing wrong with being the poor. It's just American folklore. Yes that rich man would have us all believe that financial profit is the only way to succeed. Now it's getting harder and harder to find a place of bliss and grace in this capitalist rap. Still that rich man, he only survive by the strength of the working men's hands holding him high. We need a little compassion and common place. Cause there aint nothing wrong with being the poor. It's just American folklore.

This Train 04:13
Been working hard most of my life. I never fell behind but neither focused much on money or time. I've been driven by and driven by love. The sweet sweet kinda love. Been both surrounded by friends and estranged in a crowd. Your heart still can find peace. Your mind don't mean a thing, cause girl you know we're all floating free. This train keeps on moving station to station regardless of what we think and no matter what we do. And now the Maker's made it's mark. I don't know what will next trigger your crying to start. All them John Cusack movies from my youth never prepared me for now. Oh no they did not. I'm sorry I can't give you the things that you lack. I want our baby back.

about

Sunshine returned to the studio this September 2014 to record with their 7 piece live band, The Knights. On this forthcoming CD, entitled “Sunshine Nights”, expect to hear more lush horn arrangements and vocal harmonies. Tracked mostly live, this recording is the result of 7 friends together in one room playing music they love. It was recorded at Virtue and Vice Studios in Brooklyn, NY by Anthony “Rocky” Gallo.
